Welcome to the Children’s Room! 

Come and browse our library collection of over 10,000 items, including the latest juvenile fiction and nonfiction titles, audiobooks, dvds, and music. We have computers for kids to use, puzzles to play with, and lots of Storytimes, after-school programs, special events, and reading programs throughout the year.  All are welcome. We are happy to help you find whatever you are looking for!

(Children must be in grades 4 and up to come to the library without an adult).

The American Library Association announced the 2019 Book Awards for Children and Young Adults   The Randolph Caldecott Medal is given for the most distinguished American picture book for children, this award went to: Hello Lighthouse written and illustrated by Sophie Blackall.   The John Newbery Medal is given for the most outstanding contribution to children’s literature, this award went to: Merci Suarez changes gears by Meg Medina.   The Michael L.
