Board of Trustees

The Library Board of Trustees consists of Stowe residents appointed by the Town of Stowe Selectboard. They hold a monthly meeting in Meeting Room at the Stowe Free Library, usually on the first Friday of the month unless otherwise noted. Call the library to confirm meeting location.

Stowe Free Library Minutes of Board of Trustees Meeting September 11, 2020   Present: D.Witmer, C.Maison Kastner, D.Johannesen, C.Lusk, S.Gaines, K.Spear, K.Kaufman, C.Weber (Director) Absent: None Approval of Minutes: Stand as read. Friends’ Report: The Friends will hold a meeting in October or November to discuss budgeting and the programs that are on the schedule. Treasurer’s Report: At the end of August the Operating Account contained $32,235 and the Development Account contained $28,961. The Endowment Fund was at $1,064,134. Union Bank stocks have gone up slightly. Director’s Report: The library opened its doors to the public on September 1st. Hours are Monday - Friday from 10 - 12 and
