Keep NCAL shelter animals warm this winter!

Kids and Teens - Come and help NCAL this Fall with fleece knotted blankets for the animals at the shelter this winter!

Teens – come Wednesday November 8th after school to help prepthe materials, cutting the ties and squares for Thursday.  This can count for community service hours… ask us how!

Kids – Come Thursday and tie the blankets together and then meet a shelter dog from NCAL! Teens are welcome to come both days to help with the craft.  Ages 8+. Younger kids may attend with a parent. This program is not suitable for preschoolers.

NCAL (North Country Animal League) was established in 1990 ; during the first three years as a non-profit nearly 400 more animals were adopted – a greater than 150% increase over the original adoption service, giving credence to the need for a safety net for innocent animals in Northern Vermont.

Please call or email to register/volunteer.
