Board of Trustee Meeting Minutes for March 3, 2017

STOWE FREE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING, MARCH 3, 2017

Present: Charlie Lusk, Chair, D. Bryan, B. Fox, D. Johannesen, C.M. Kastner, Darla Witmer, Cindy Weber, Director, Ronna Ziegel (Friends)

Absent: K. Kaufman

Call to Order: 8 a.m.

Minutes: February Minutes approved and stand as read.

Treasurer's Report: As of February 28, 2017, there is $25,981 in the Operating Account. The Development Account has $17,792, including $1,745 in donation made in memory of Pete Smith.

The Friends of the Library Report: Friends' President Ronna Ziegel reported that the Friends are in a good financial state.  She announced the next two In Your Own Backyard programs: March 16 with Reidun Nuquist speaking about The Ladies of the Green Mountain Club;  April 6 with meteorologist, Roger Hill.  The Friends Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 4 at 4p.m. with a speaker to be announced.
