It is a busy week at the Library for garden lovers!

Don't miss the final session in our "In Our Own Backyard" series, brought to you by the Friends of Stowe Free Library. Vermont author and gardener Henry Homeyer, who wrote The Vermont gardener's companion : an insider's guide to gardening in Vermont, joins us Wednesday, May 19 at 7pm to help us answer all of our Vermont gardening questions.

Peter Miller joins us tomorrow, 5/6 at 4pm, for the Friends Annual Meeting

Just a quick reminder that author and award winning photographer, Peter Miller will be our speaker at the annual meeting of the Stowe Free Library tomorrow from 4-6 p.m. When I first moved to town, I read a lot of books by Vermont authors to try to soak up the "local" flavor. Peter Miller's Nothing Hardly Ever Happens in Colbyville, Vermont was one of my favorites.
