Find it at home or away

Do you need information at home, when the Library is closed, or when away? Try one of our online resources. Many of our resources require only your library card number; for the few that require a password, please call the Library at 802/253.6145 (one time only).

We now have online access to Consumer Reports in addition to our print subscription. Access the service directly at http://www.consumerreports.org. You must call the Library at 802/253.6145 to obtain a password (one time only).

Through our membership in the Green Mountain Library Consortium and a generous initial grant from the Oakland Foundation, we are able to offer our patrons access to downloadable audio books and eBooks. Access the service directly at http://www.listenupvermont.org -- all you need to download is your library card.

Our newest offering, Universal Class allows patrons access over 500 online courses at no charge. Designed for high school age and up there are a variety of offerings from accounting and bookkeeping, home schooling, computers & technology, crafts, medical billing and test preparation.

Be sure to create a profile with your email address when you log in for the first time -- Universal Class will keep track of your progress, and you can work at your own pace.

Mango Languages allows patrons access tMango logoo conversational language learning lessons in 22 languages, led by native speakers, including Mandarin Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Thai, and more, as well as 14 ESL programs. 

Be sure to create a profile with your email address when you log in for the first time -- Mango will keep track of your progress, and you can work at your own pace, with no cds to return.
