Our new series with the Stowe Land Trust and the Vermont Ski Museum, "Bats, Biodiesel, and the Barnyard" may seem like a strange mix, but it is a great way for our three organizations to work together!

Make sure you have on your calendar tomorrow night's Gazebo Concert, featuring the combined Morristown Miltary and Waterbury Town Bands. This is a yearly tradition, and the one time a year these two bands join forces. You'll hear toe-tapping Broadway tunes, military marches, music from a bygone era, and, of course, the National Anthem.

The Vermont State Parks and the Department of Libraries are generously donating a free day parks pass to every library in Vermont, including the Stowe Free Library!
Like our popular ECHO pass, patrons will be able to check out the pass and use it for free day admission at the Vermont State Parks.

The Stowe Free Library will host Joe Citro, Vermont’s chronicler of the strange and supernatural, on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7:30 p.m. as part of its “Face to Face: Meet the Author” series.
Joe Citro is a native Vermonter, novelist, and public radio commentator who has done a lot to keep New England’s history and folklore alive.
