Through a gift from the Sandra Fearons estate, Stowe Free Library and Lamoille Valley Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offer a free program. Join UVM Professor Emeritus Michael Atkinson, who will share some of the best poems ever written.

Where Poems Come From - A Workshop Saturday, Nov. 12th
Poet Julia Shipley will conduct a one day workshop on writing poetry. The focus is on kindling new ways to create poems. Participants will experiment with five different writing exercises. Whether you've just published your ninth volume or never written a poem at all, join Julia for a stimulating four hours of creativity.
