Two weeks back at Book Expo America, the annual book-and-author trade show, I was lucky enough to attend a breakfast featuring Jon Stewart of The Daily Show  (Earth (The Book): A Visitor's Guide to the Human Race), Condoleezza Rice (Condoleezza Rice: A Memoir of My Extraordinary, Ordinary Family and Me), John Grisham, (The Confession: A Novel), and Mary Roach (Packing For Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void). 

Stewart acted as master of ceremonies, and was as funny as ever. You can catch a video of the breakfast, which was taped for C-SPAN's BookTV, on the C-SPAN website. Stewart was totally spot-on about the overwhleming disappointment in the muffin basket.
