Kids, it's that time of year again...no more school, warm summer days...and lots of good books and fun activities at the Stowe Free Library!
Libraries all over the state and the country will be offering programs around the themes "Make a Splash at your Library" for younger children and "Make Waves at your Library" for young adults and teens.
To encourage reading, the library will be having weekly raffles for fun and delicious prizes. Read a book at your reading level, fill out a library raffle ticket , have a librarian stamp the ticket, then put it into a jar of your choice. Prizes include mystery bags for younger kids, sweet treats for all ages, and gift certificates for young adults and teens. Children not yet reading on their own may participate in our Read-to-Me program and may enter a raffle after ten books have been read to them. The more you read, the more chances you have to win!!
