Louise Penny, one of our patron favorites, wins the Agatha award

Louise Penny, from the Globe and MailLouise Penny, who lives in Sutton, Quebec, has been one of our patrons' favorite mystery writers since her first book,Still Life, was published in 2006.
 
Penny was just recently awarded her third Agatha Award for best "traditional" mystery of the year for The Brutal Telling, her latest in the series set in the fictional town of Three Pines, Quebec.
 
Another Canadian writer, Alan Bradley, won best first novel for his book The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie.
