Stowe Free Library

Yes -- we are open this morning! However, due to the snowstorm, the weather outlook, and staffing concerns, we will be closing at 4pm today.

 

Our program scheduled for tonight, "Our Civil War Legacy," a book discussion sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council, has been postponed for one week, until Wednesday, March 3.

 

As always, when the weather gives you pause, be sure to call the library and speak with a staff member before coming down. We are closed on all major holidays and follow the schedule of federal holiday closings adopted by the Town of Stowe, and will be closed when the Town of Stowe and/or Vermont State offices are closed. We maintain a message of special and holiday closings on our phone message. Call us at 802/253.6145 and choose extension 32 to hear our closings.
