Chris Anderson, the editor-in-chief of Wired, made news in 2006 with his book The Long Tail, about how the Internet has made so much accessible -- and that almost everything finds an audience somehow. He's just published a new book, called Free: The Future of a Radical Price, which examines how that amazing availability has changed the notion of what we are willing to pay for, and how much we're willing to pay for it.

Interestingly, the audio book of Free is available to download free off the Wired website at http://www.wired.com/techbiz/it/magazine/17-07/mf_freer.

You can see a clip of Anderson below, with his TED talk about the "long tail" of technology. As with every TED talk I have seen, it is quite thought-provoking.
