Building Great Sentences
Writers take note. Here is a recent addition to our Great Courses collection: "Building Great Sentences: Exploring the Writer's Craft." Brooks Landon of the University of Iowa delivers 22 lectures on the building block of composition - the sentence. "...we will study the sentence as a thing in motion, a live thing, considering the strategies that give sentences pace and rhythm, particularly the duple rhythms of balnace and three-beat rhythms of serial constructions."
