Listen Up! Vermont -- ready to go!
It is with great excitement that we can announce that Listen Up! Vermont, a service for downloadable audio books, is up and running. This service is brought to you by OverDrive and the Green Mountain Library Consortium, a group of more than 80 Vermont public and school libraries working together to provide new services to Vermont libraries.
All you need to access the collection is a computer with an Internet connection and your Stowe Free Library card. You'll have to type in that long number on the back of your card, and, when using the service for the first time, download a piece of software onto your computer.There's an excellent help section on the site, and a good place to start with questions is the Quick Start Guide. You can access this collection of titles from anywhere you have access to a computer -- on vacation, at work (if allowed, of course), at home... and, of course, at any time!
